Away from home and forgot an established daily medication? An eligible virtual visit may allow Dr. Farah to evaluate a short-term refill request and, when clinically appropriate and legally permitted, send a prescription to an eligible pharmacy near your current location.
How it works

Request a visit
Book an available traveler-care slot online or call the clinic and identify the request as virtual urgent care / travel refill.

Prepare verification
Have the existing medication bottle, prescription label or pharmacy profile available. Do not send medication photos through the public booking form.

Meet virtually
Dr. Farah reviews the relevant history, current medication and refill need and determines whether telehealth is sufficient for safe prescribing.
- 4
Pharmacy handoff
If a prescription is clinically appropriate and legally permitted, it may be sent to an eligible pharmacy based on the patient's location and pharmacy acceptance.

What may — and may not — be considered virtually
A medication appearing below does not guarantee a refill. Every request requires an appropriate clinical evaluation, verification and professional judgment.
Examples that may be considered
- Established blood-pressure and cardiac maintenance medications such as lisinopril, amlodipine or metoprolol
- Established asthma and allergy medications such as albuterol inhalers, fluticasone or montelukast
- Established diabetes and thyroid medications such as metformin or levothyroxine; insulin requests require particular verification and clinical judgment
- Established acid-reflux and digestive medications such as omeprazole or famotidine
- Selected non-controlled urgent-care prescriptions, including antibiotics, anti-nausea medication or eye drops, only when medically indicated after evaluation
Not provided through this virtual refill service
- ADHD stimulants such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Ritalin or Concerta
- Benzodiazepines such as Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin or Valium
- Controlled opioid or pain medications such as tramadol, oxycodone or hydrocodone
- Sedative-hypnotic sleep medications such as Ambien or Lunesta
- Controlled substances or medications that require specialist psychiatric management under clinic policy
Location matters
Telehealth follows the patient
Telehealth rules depend on where the patient is physically located during the visit. Virtual care is offered only when Dr. Farah is legally authorized to provide medical care to a patient in that location.
For patients located in California, telehealth care is held to the same standard of care as in-person medicine and requires appropriate consent, privacy and clinical evaluation.
Before you book
Be ready to state the state where you are physically located, your preferred pharmacy, the medication name and dose, and how the existing prescription can be verified securely during the clinical workflow.
The public booking form intentionally does not accept detailed medical history or medication-document uploads.
